Under what authority does FedSource purchase and provide interagency services?

0

Unlike many interagency acquisitions which generally fall under the Economy Act, FedSource has its own independent authority under the Treasury Department Appropriation Act of 1997 (PL 104-208) as amended by the Treasury Department Appropriation Act of 2001 (PL 106-554 and PL 108-7). This gives us the specific authority to provide services to both the Treasury Department and to other Federal agencies. Therefore, our customers do not need to reference the Economy Act to purchase from us.
