Under section 19 of the AHR Act, what kind of information will be made public?
The goal of the AHR Act is to protect the health, safety, dignity and rights of Canadians. Assisted Human Reproduction Canada is responsible for providing information about the Act and its regulations, by-laws and enforcement activities. AHRC will inform Canadians about licensing activities , including applications for new licences, amendments to and renewal of existing licences, and licence suspensions, restorations, revocations, and other proceedings. AHRC will also provide information about outcomes of assisted human reproduction procedures performed by licensees. Finally, AHRC will inform the public about measures that are taken to protect health and safety. For more detailed information about section19, see the Act.
