Under Mac OS X 10.4.11, which keyboard layouts are compatible with MacSpeech Dictate 1.3?

0

Under Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger), some keyboard layouts are incompatible with MacSpeech Dictate 1.3. (See list below). Note: MacSpeech Dictate 1.3 was the last version to support Mac OS X 10.4.x (Tiger). These incompatible keyboard layouts contain data in an older standard format, which is insufficient to allow MacSpeech Dictate to type keystrokes. Most OS X v10.4.x (Tiger) keyboard layouts have been updated to a current standard format that Dictate supports. However, several widely-used keyboard layouts are still in the previous, incompatible format. Please note that all keyboard layouts for Mac OS X 10.5.x (Leopard) support the current standard format, and are compatible with MacSpeech Dictate. Below are lists of incompatible and compatible layouts. If this is an issue using MacSpeech Dictate with Mac OS X 10.4.x, you will need to switch to a compatible keyboard layout (U.S. is suggested), or upgrade to Mac OS X 10.5.x (Leopard).
