Under jurisdiction would it be necessary for a First Nations school to continue to be Independent schools?
Not necessarily. If the First Nations school is certified by the First Nations Education Authority, the school will be able to grant its own graduation certificate and to apply to grant the Dogwood. They would also be able to enter into an agreement with the province to receive the full block rate for students attending their schools.
