In rare circumstances when a P Res member is serving outside of Canada or the program of study is not available in Canada, members may submit an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) to the PSO providing the course syllabus details and reason for requesting out of Canada study. The PSO will forward the request to CDA. If the education institution has education standards comparable to Canada and the course is in the interests of the CF, CDA may approve the ILP. Caveat: To be eligible for reimbursement, the member must maintain effective strength status for the academic year claimed.
