UMREG uses a truck and buys plastic bags, isn that an oxymoron or paradoxical or something?
Some things are necessary for our operation to be worthwhile. We couldn’t hope to provide our current recycling service without our truck, and no viable alternative to bags has been found. The necessary evils are offset by the increased capture and efficiency gains they provide. This argument ignores the use of bags and vehicles necessary to handle garbage, the treatment that recycling is subjected to if recycling programs are insufficient.
