Plant Supplements and Shrimp – 04/04/2005 I’ve been using Kent Freshwater Plant Supplement in my 5.5 gallon aquarium and recently bought a few algae eating shrimp (I believe they’re the Amano something type). I noticed that this supplement contains (min) .00001% copper as well as .24% chelated iron. I’ve been using a little lower dosage, just in case, but I was wondering if these metals would adversely affect my shrimp…
