To Protect the underground water resource of Kerr Country. It takes applications and gives authorization to drill water wells in the country and “investigates the aquifiers to determine approciate plans for future development”. The district’s mission is to develop, promote and implement water conservation, augmentation and management strategies to protect the water resource.
