Typically, what is the file size of streaming video on the internet?
Streaming video usually gets cached in your local Temporary Internet Files folder. I have found the sizes to be about that of what the normal file would be. For example, Hulu, com streams shows. Based on hard disk use, I estimate that each episode has about 100MB of Data streamed to play it, although it could be more. That is for a 45-minute show. (The video files are in 16:9 aspect ratio as well.) For streaming movies, I have pegged them as 200MB-300MB in total size, streamed. This would depend on the quality set to be streamed, but Hulu is high. These approximations are based on my experience. Likewise, a DIVX episode of Sons Of Anarchy weighs in at 350MB. The web browser deletes them after the episode closes, I believe.
