Type of wood & strongest wood?

Out of the three woods that others have said the Hickory is the hardest and the strongest and the Ash is the weakest. If you hit wrong with an Ash bat it is quite easy to break. There are other woods that are stronger than these Dogwood has a very tight grain and used to be used for splitting wedges to split other woods.Rose wood is very hard and was used for many tools and other things that required a hard surface. There is another wood called the tree of life [ I don’t know it’s real name] It was used to make bearings that were used on submarines because with these wooden bearings the machinery would run very quiet. There are other types of wood that are strong in other ways such as being very flexible.Need more info. to give a better answer. Iron wood is hard but not the hardest I have used it before Dog wood,Rosewood,And the tree of life are harder.
