Two of the horses have raced already and finished unplaced. Does that mean they are no good?
A. It is common for staying bred horses to have an educational run or two at 3 years of age. An unplaced performance is acceptable based on inexperience alone. Weekend Hussler ran 4th in a Maiden at Sale at his first start. Phar Lap ran last at his first few starts before he was gelded. Each of our horses has won jumpouts and has impressed their trainer with their potential.
