Twisters pricing is based on large node increments, e.g., the first tier is up to 10 Twister nodes, and the next tier is 50. Is it possible to purchase only 15 or 20 nodes?
The product pricing tiers were created based on our actual customer experiences. Twister’s pricing and licensing structure was defined to handle small, medium, and large data processing operations based on the volume and complexity of data sets (format, type, access methods, etc.). Due to the unexpected ebbs and surges in volumes of data, it is difficult to precisely determine the number of Twister nodes that will be utilized during the life of a program, even after a pilot implementation. Our software is priced to allow for headroom to handle these unexpected volume increases. In almost every case, this flexibility has proven very beneficial to our customers.
