Twelve art projects are included in each quarterly Buttercups™ kit. Why not more?

Art experiences for children this age are very basic: scribble drawings, fingerpainting, etc. They are meant to introduce children to different art mediums and give them practice manipulating and controlling art utensils. Materials needed to do creative art with infants and toddlers are likely already in your cupboard (crayons, paint, paper, safety scissors, etc.). As a result, in addition to the twelve art projects, we have filled the Buttercups kit with board books, play materials, and teacher materials to make its contents most valuable to you. Feel free to provide more opportunities for creative art as desired. The Curriculum Guide includes ideas in addition to those we provide materials for. It also features activity ideas for other modes of creative art, including dramatic play and music.
