Darrel, you are such a gem. By the way, I believe that we have met once, a few years ago, at a herp convention in Valley Forge. I’ll let you know if we find anything after our second dig. This turtle is indeed young, only about 5 years old, and she was raised in captivity (bought illegally as a baby in N.Y.C. Chinatown) and given to us a few summers ago, when she had outgrown her aquarium. Her name had been George up until we got her. Our male Red Eared Slider
