Carpets – Most carpets are disposed of because they are either dirty or have become out of fashion. If your carpet is dirty give it an industrial clean, see you local business directory for details. If you no longer require your carpet try selling it or donating it. If your carpet has come to the end of its life and the only method is disposal it can be taken to your local recycling centre. Cars – Please see Abandoned vehicles Cartridges (toner) – can be taken to the recycling centres. Some manufacturers will recycle them such as Hewlett Packard . If you purchase a new cartridge you should be able to return it to the manufacturer for recycling. There are also charities who will gratefully receive donations of used cartridges such as Action Aid and Oxfam Alternatively rather than recycling cartridges why not get them refilled?
