Trojans and keyloggers.Why do people call them viruses?
It’s not easy to sort all malicious programs by some sign because of their countless number and the different technics they use. However,most of them can be classified as viruses,worms or trojans.But sometimes this classification is useless because of a few reasons.One of them is that many malicious programs can’t be classified only as viruses,worms or trojans.Most people that have no or a little experience with computers call all alware,adware and even different software bugs and hardware faults viruses,which is not correct.They refer to everything that can cause harm to their computers as a virus.Even if there’s a big difference between viruses,worms and trojans,sometimes it’s much easier to call these three just viruses,for example when you talk with people that don’t make difference between them.By the way,even the software that detects and removes viruses,trojans and worms is usually named antivirus software,not antiworm or antitrojan software.Sometimes you may call worms and troj
