TriOral is alcohol free. Why is that important?
Alcohol has two harmful effects in the mouth. First, alcohol dries out the mouth and can create a condition known as Xerostomia (sometimes referred to as “dry mouth”). A dry mouth can actually cause and worsen bad breath. Secondly, research has shown that prolonged, excessive exposure to alcohol in the mouth can increase the risk of oral cancer.
