Tricking the Companion-AI?
Following a NPCs on a hunting expedition or to ransack an Orc camp can turn out to be quite nerve racking, because the NPC tends to die far too quickly. One method to avoid this problem is to follow the NPC the first time, re-load an older save game, and then to clean up everything in NPC’s path, and only then accompany the NPC on the Quest. Tip: There is another method though. When you stop walking the NPC who is leader the way will also stop a few meters in front of you. If you do *not* move forward but move to the left or right for a while you can actually circle the NPC, who will not move. Thus you can clean out a camp with newly spawned Orcs, without the NPC interfering (e.g. in the Kaelin Quest in Nordmar).
