Travel within switzerland- Diff between 1st and 2nd class on their travel system?
The main difference between 1st and 2nd classes on most trains is that 2nd class gets crowded on some routes, and 1st class usually doesn’t. On some of the specialty routes (Golden Pass I think is one) and some of the boats (also included in the pass), the first class is really classier. But if the price is so similar, might as well go for first. The first class seats are also slightly roomier and more comfortable, but second class are pretty good too.
