Travel to Bahamas from Miami, travel by sea or air?

If you’re looking for transportation to the Bahamas in order to stay there, the passenger ferry service ‘Cloud X’ is no longer in operation. I don’t know if there’s another one, but I doubt it. There is a one-day cruise a friend took, and they may still be operating. I’ll post their website in the source box. I think it says from $79 each way and it takes about 3 1/2 hours. You can take a cruise ship. There are two night cruises from Miami for as little as $279 per person for an interior stateroom. And really, you only get half of what you paid for, BUT you have to have permission prior to sailing to just get off in Nassau. They’re supposed to return with the same people they left with unless something medical or illegal happens. So, if you want to get there in less than 3 hours, you’ll have to fly. You can do so in an hour for as little as $87 roundtrip on Bahamasair. Have a great trip! And even if you’re not staying there, if you’re going to be in Nassau, check out the Atlantis Resor
