Travel Q: How will travel cash advances work in Advantage?
Cash advances will continue to be issued on an exception basis only! The advance will be recorded on a TA (Travel Authorization) document for disbursement to the traveler. A corresponding Receivable (RE) document will be generated through the nightly batch cycle to record the cash advance due from the traveler. As soon as the trip has ended, the advance amount (RE) becomes collectable and will be automatically netted against the travelers Travel Payment (TP) document or any other Advantage disbursement to the traveler.
