Transfering ipod Data from origanal stored computer to new computer?

I got a new labtop and i want to transfer my Ipod library to my labtop. How can i do this without erasing everything? I heard something like you can trasnfer data onyl 6 times or something. you will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you copy songs in your ipod to computer as itunes blocks the ipod-to-computer transfer, here is a review of top 5 ipod copying softwares(windows/mac): http://www.ipodtocomputer.net either a flash drive or u can do it by ur ipod. plug ur ipod into the computer. go to my computer. click on ur ipod logo. if there isnt a “my music” folder in there right click, go to properties, find the show hidden files box and uncheck it. go to the music folder in ur ipod. copy it and paste it on your laptop i dont know exactly but i think that you can’t put all your information on to back up CD’s and then just load it onto your laptop..or you could just buy software from the apple store, im sure they have it.
