Training Does the SNPRC have an internship program for college students?
Yes, the SNPRC does have a competitive summer internship program. An application must be submitted for this 8-week summer program. The directions and forms that are required are listed on the SNPRC webpage under Training Opportunities, Undergraduate and Graduate Student Internships (http://www.sfbr.org/SNPRC/training.aspx). The completed packet is submitted to the Research Resources Office either by e-mail, fax or by regular mail. All packets must be received by the deadline each year. A board is held to select the summer intern positions. The students are hired as temporary full time employees. The SNPRC cannot guarantee the availability of a specific mentor so up to three choices are recommended. All summer student interns are subject to a background search.
