toraView looks better on my friends browser. How can I improve mine?
Web Browsers deal with fonts in an extremely flexible way. If toraView specifies a font for a page that you do not have on your system, your Web Browser will compensate by substituting another font in its place. This is one way the Web remains so universal. toraView was designed using Microsoft’s free Verdana font (available for Windows and Macintosh) as a first choice. If your system does not have Verdana, toraView tries to use Trebuchet MS (also free from Microsoft), Arial, Helvetica, and sans-serif. If none of these are found on your system, it just accepts whatever font your Web Browser uses by default. To get the Verdana or Trebuchet MS fonts from Microsoft, visit their free font download site. You will find these fonts and others for both Windows and Macintosh.
