If the DBF file is structured according to our document titled “Exchanging Data with 3rd Party Attendance Systems” then it should. However, there are some old versions of DBF that are not compatible with Foxpro 2.6 or with VFP. This is stated in the document on page 4 of the Version 3.0 Release Documentation. These older files handled memo fields differently then they are handled today and this makes them incompatible. Batch Repair I scanned a Test form and then discovered that the student identification number was incorrectly bubbled. I fixed the record in Batch Repair. Then I realized that I now had two student records, one with the correct student identification and another with the incorrect student identification. What can I do to avoid this problem in the future? If you notice the error while still in Batch Repair, you can delete the inaccurate record from the Batch Repair list, then re?bubble and re?scan.
