Unless you are using “remember my login info” when logging in to GameKnot, you will see the ads on the front page before you log in. Simply because the server doesn’t yet know that it is you. As soon as you log in to GameKnot, all advertising will disappear from the site. If you are still getting pop-up ads while logged in to GameKnot under your user name, your computer is likely to be infected with adware/spyware. Please refer to question #27 for more information.
