The recommended practice is to bookmark the web page with the “regional marine map” where a visitor can select one of many areas on the map. For example, bookmark the page with the map for the Maritimes region of the Atlantic Coast, instead of the marine area “Cabot Strait – northern half” selectable from this map. This web page with the regional map is “static” in that the address doesn’t change, just the definitions of the marine areas in the map.
