top of page] [top of section] What is the PARIS Grants review process?
• DARM staff will review draft proposals submitted by February 4, 2005 for technical and substantive completeness and remit their recommendations to each agency by February 14, 2005. • The agencies will then have until March 4, 2005 to rectify any deficiencies in their application. DARM staff will conduct a final technical review and then turn the applications over to teams of professional grant reviewers that DARM has contracted with. • The professional reviewers will score applications and make recommendations regarding funding to the State Records Committee. The State Records Committee will allocate grant money based on these recommendations at the May 19, 2005 State Records Committee meeting. • NOTE: The consultants retained by DARM (NEDCC, CIAT and CCAHA) for the training sessions and surveys WILL NOT BE INVOLVED IN THE REVIEW PROCESS of the applications.
