• You must hold a valid driver’s license other than class G1, G2, M1, M2, M(L) • You must be 18 years of age or older • You must have no demerits on your driver’s record • Pass a terminal check to ensure you meet licensing requirements • Meet Ministry approved vision standards • Pass a G1 knowledge test(there is a one year wait period following two unsuccessful attempts) • Pass a G2 highway test(there is a one year wait period following two unsuccessful attempts) • Pass a police record search • Complete a MTO-approved Driving Instructor Course.
