For Film or Video the copyright lasts for 70 years after the death of the last to die of the director, the screenplay author, the author of the dialogue or the composer of the music. For Sound Recordings the copyright lasts for 50 years after the end of the year in which they were made or in which they were released if that is later. For Databases the copyright lasts for 15 years after the end of the year in which the database was made. There is a further complication in that a publisher has copyright in the Typographical Arrangement of the material and this lasts for 25 years from the end of the year of first publication.
