Top 6 STAR ENABLE (Q) I have a Megatouch XL 5000 machine. What are the stars for when you start a new game?
(A) There is a feature called 6 Star Enable. It is enabled through the options screen. It will allow anyone who has the 6 Star PIN number access to: • the calibration screen • clear the high score screen • adjust the volume • two pages of the video billboard The default PIN number is 4-1-2-3. To set your own PIN number: • Enter SYSTEM SETTINGS. • Select SET 6 Star PIN. Top SLOW BOOTING (Q) I bought a Megatouch Platinum game that was converted from a CD drive to a hard drive. It takes half an hour to run a diagnostic. Is there any way I can change the setting to skip this procedure? (A) If the game is taking 20-30 minutes to power up in a diagnostic mode, chances are it is going through the hard drive checksum test. Check the DIP switches on the I/O board and make sure all the switches are OFF (or in the OUT position). This should help resolve this problem.
