– It’s In Laimbach, a village in the Melk region of Northern Austria, west of Vienna, the Austrian capital. By car, Laimbach lies about 1hr 15 mins drive from Linz and the nearest airport, 1 hour 30 from Vienna and 2 hours 30 minutes from Salzburg. The Happy House is on the road number B36, 25 kilometres north of the main east/west motorway the A1. When you leave the motorway at Ybbs head north on the B25, cross the famous River Danube and drive north on the B36 into the ‘Waldviertel’ for a further 16 kilometers, passing through Yspertal.
