A. The TOEFL minimum requirements can be found on The Graduate School’s application website (http://www.tgs.northwestern.edu/admission/materials/). Our department upholds this minimum score requirement. There are no specific GRE and GPA requirements for our department. For the 2008 incoming class the average GRE score is 764 (Q) & 551 (V) and the average GPA is 3.64 on a 4.0 scale.
