Todd Berrier: The season thus far — we’re still in the top-10 (before the race) but all of us back there from 10th to 12th are just borderline in and out every week. Ultimately we’d like to be in Jimmie Johnson or Greg Biffle’s position by winning more races and that, but if you look at the teams as a whole, our team and Evernham’s team with Kasey Kahne are the only two teams aside of Roush and Hendrick’s that have won races so far. That’s pretty good considering the stiff competition we are facing that’s up in that top-10. Q: To be as close to the top-10 as you continue to be, you guys have already overcome some tough breaks — from getting your primary car wiped out before the Daytona 500 to you missing several races. Even in light of all that, would you consider anything less than making the Chase a successful season? Todd Berrier: Absolutely not. You know, you have to get in the top-10 and do the deal. We didn’t do it last year, even though we were close to doing it.
