Answer Well hello there, Virg! These are the kind of questions I love to answer! Most are totally unaware of how much Elvis Presley GAVE. It is almost too endless to mention, but I will try to summarize. Of course, his financial support of various family members was ONGOING. At a very young age, Elvis literally lifted both his mother and father out of a life of poverty. He told them they would never be poor again, and they werent. He pretty much also supported his father’s second wife and her three little boys also,lifting them from low class circumstances. He supported various other relatives throughout the years including aunts and uncles, cousins, etc. This included Uncle Vester who even at a senior age, was allowed by Elvis charge of the Graceland Guardhouse.
