To what extent will an organisation be able to compare data held in the Hub across similar organisations e.g. counties?
The Hub holds data but is not intended to analyse it in this way, but rather to provide data to other analytical tools. The CLG publicly available Floor Targets Interactive website provides the means of comparing and benchmarking data. In addition users will be able to download other areas data – if they have permission – into their own analysis environment. Currently the only download will be via .csv file. By Release 2 (Autumn 2008) users should be able to use the new web service facility if their own software has been adapted. Release 2 of the Hub project will provide a tool to compare performance against targets, and a later release will provide further analytical tools to supplement Floor Targets Interactive, scope the requirements for outputs from the Hub and includes an Indicator Profiler Tool, based on the GO London model. The tool will be accessible to LSPs, GOs and key partners enabling comparative analysis nationally. A working group has been set to deliver the Indicator Pro
