To what extent should LEAs that use third-party vendors to be trained, should they be involved in the regional or teacher training?
LEAs that use third-party systems will need to obtain data files from their vendors to submit their December and April Child Count and End of Year reports through CECAS. This reporting will likely occur at the district level so on the administrator will need to be trained on this specific process. The CECAS Project is preparing a Computer-Based Training (CBT) module that they plan to make available via the web. These administrators may choose to use this CBT or attend a half-day session that should cover this instruction.
