Transitions lenses block 100% of harmful UV radiation according to all the internationally recognized standards for UV blockage, including ANSI Z80.3 (American National Standard Institute), ISO 8980-3 (International Standards Organization), EN 1836 (European Norm) and AS/NZS 1067 (Australia/New Zealand Standard). All Transitions VI lenses provide UV 400 protection, blocking more than 99.5% of harmful UVA and UVB rays between 280 nm and 400 nm – helping to protect the eye from a wider range of potentially damaging rays of light.
