The only TARC-approved altimeters are the Adept A1-TA, and (for teams that previously entered TARC) any Perfectflite ALT15K/WD that is left over from a previous year of TARC. You are allowed to use other brands and models of altimeters for other purposes in your rocket, but your official score must come from the same altimeter design as everyone else is using.
