For those who want to go ‘all the way’, midi files of all VMS songs are available in twelve keys. You can access them by browsing through the VMS data folder on your DVD. Midi gives you a lot of flexibility: you can import midi files into any sequencing program, change the tempo, record your solo on top of it, etcetera. Midi files can also be played with the Quicktime or Windows Media Player. These files were made with a great program called Band-In-A-Box, simply because recording human players on 10 songs in 12 keys would make the VMS too expensive.
