• How do you use volume displacement to determine the volume of a metal? • For my chemistry investigation, I am investigating the molecular formula of two different compounds formed by adding an excess of 0.1M sodium hydroxide to 0.1M copper sulphate in one beaker and adding an excess of 0.1M copper sulphate to 0.1M sodium hydroxide in another beaker. The result is a blue gelatinous solid that is produced in the first beaker and a light blue powdery precipitate that is formed in the second beaker.
