To date, how widespread is the participation in the CCSP?
TSA is currently conducting a limited rollout of the CCSP by focusing on 18 cities with key airport markets. According to the TSA, more than 30 new companies are being CCSP certified each week. To become a Certified Cargo Screening Facility, companies must successfully apply with the TSA; participate in the program; and adhere to strict security standards, including physical access controls, personnel security, and screening of prospective employees and contractors to TSA standards.
