To Be An Actuary, What Are Some Good College Majors?
In life, we are asked what we want to be when we grew up. Some wanted to be a doctor, a scientist, an astronaut or something fun. As we grow older, we tend to become something simpler like a businessman. Somehow, we are sometimes asked if we want to be an actuary. We tend to think what that means and what college major should I choose if I want to be one. There are so many majors in college that we might have no idea on which one we would want to choose. In mind, I have only come up with a few ideas in which college major would be good to take up to be an actuary. On basics, an actuary is someone who is specialized in math but also knows their way around the business. Business education could be one good major that you could take up in college. It would teach you the basics in math and would help you to do reports. It would also help you in statistics regarding the business and financial reporting.
