Hi 🙂 Well, I know a 22 year old estate agent who has just got his first mortgage! So if you are mature enough to handle a mortgage, and most importantly you have the money, then I don’t see why not. You could be mortgage free by the time you’re 45 – which would be amazing! The first thing to ask yourself is this – do you have a JOB or a CAREER? What I mean is – do you plan to do general jobs for money to get you by, or have you actually got a career plan and a career that will be stable for the next few years? If you are settled in your job and know that you will stay there, then there would be nothing wrong with considering a mortgage. However, most of the time you need to save up to pay a 10% deposit before you can get a mortgage. Sometimes you can get a 100% mortgage, but to be honest the more you can save and put towards a property, the easier it will be for you in the longrun. I would make an appointment with as many different mortgage advisors as you can (at least 4-5) and see
