Three steps to a logo seems too simple?

One of our main goals when creating 60 Minute Logo was to create a process which simplified the logo design process. Coming from large agency backgrounds we often saw corporations spend several thousand dollars to create a logo and brand identity. Most of this money was wasted. The problems typically came from lack of focus, too many intermediaries (account executives, archaic billing structures, overhead) and decisions being made by a committee-trying to “please all of the people all the time.” The concept of a camel being a horse designed by a committee comes to mind. By having the client fill out a detailed survey, we are able to focus everyone involved, we remain flexible but it becomes our roadmap and checkpoint to the final solution.
