No, the University gives out a full tuition waiver only if graduate students are employed 0.5 FTE or greater. It does not give out partial tuition waivers. The SOM has another pot of money to use for tuition waivers for non-GAs and for fee waivers (fee wiavers are sometimes referred to as “in-state tuition”). The waivers from the pot must be given out based on academic merit and is done so at the discretion of the SOM. 23-10-96.
