This place used to be called The Eddzone. Why the name and URL change?
When The Eddzone’s hosting contract with Lycos expired, it seemed like a good time to change more than just the host. The site’s overall “look and feel” has been changed, existing pages (such as the bio pages) have been updated, new pages are being added and to go along with all of this it seemed like a new name was in order, too. Hey, we all need a little change every now and then! The new name of Edtropolis of course comes from the amazing cardboard city the Eds made in Season 2’s ‘Urban Ed;’ we felt it neatly summed up all we’re trying to say and do here with the site.
