Thickness of core: What can be done if the thickness of the foam block is smaller than the thickness of the sandwich in which it should be used?
Foam sheets can be bonded on each other with an appropriate adhesive to make thicker foam sheets. The resin or adhesive must be able to cure in a thin layer. Depending on the foam type and application an appropriate adhesive can be chosen. See Alcan Airex processing guidelines for further information.
