It can impact custody, it can impact visitation, a person may even wind up with monitored visits, supervised visits and they have to pay for that. I’ve been in court where viewing a case and a guy had splashed some water on his wife and there was a finding of domestic violence based upon that splash. Then I was in another courtroom with another judge and the lady had actually suffered injuries and she was in the hospital. And the judge in that particular case found no domestic violence.
