Yes, we supply a tube of gel glue with each kit. The reason for the glue is that the inside of the large hose connector is sometimes coated with a release agent that can be very slippery. The inside should be cleaned and the parting agent removed. When installing the reducer into the 1-3/4 coupling, the glue attaches it to avoid slipping.
